Creativity in art is most successful when imaginative links can be made leading to original and exciting ideas.

Active Art will stylise and personalise activities making connections across the school curriculum according to topics or interests.

It is important to us to find opportunities to help engage young people intellectually and thoughtfully with wider sources, including incorporating ideas used in other areas of children’s learning.

Art should be used as a way of looking at the world around us, asking questions, exploring issues, developing ideas and understanding history.

 

Active Art is about investigating all of these areas and creating something memorable and interesting for the children to take pride in.
